About

Esther D. Mulroy

“Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.” ~Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5; Yerushalmi Talmud 4:9, Babylonian Talmud Sanhedrin 37a

Esther D. Mulroy has dedicated her life to the lives of others. She understands through the depths of her wisdom that helping one person ripples into an ocean of many people. She understands that if one person transforms oneself, that person’s positive and lasting impact affects their entire family. That transformed family then affects an entire community. A transformed community affects a city, state, or country. One transformed country affects a conglomerate of countries. And eventually, the entire world is transformed. This is the work that Esther has chosen to embark on. It is honorable work and tireless work, but could be the most rewarding work of our times.

Esther has a very unique and powerful story. Since she was a child, she grappled with anxiety, grief, fear, sadness and emotional trauma. In the past 30 years, she has been through many different forms of therapy. It is through her challenging life experiences, her struggles, and her path of self-healing that Esther provides her clients with an enlightened perspective related to their personal struggles and family challenges. Through many years of self-healing, therapy and coaching, Esther has developed sensitivity, compassion, patience, vulnerability, acceptance and allowance for herself and others. These crucial skills allow the client to expand into a new realm of consciousness about themselves and the issue with which they are grappling.

Esther has always been a spiritual seeker. Her natural abilities of empathy, compassion, intuition, love, caring, curiosity, trustworthiness, strength, intelligence, and relentlessness are vital skills to guide her clients into wellness. Because of her experience and story, she has a very specific niche of working with families, especially those who have family members who suffer from any type of mental illness or special needs. She has a unique ability to relate both to the person with mental illness or special needs and the other family members in the family unit. Her intention is to bring unity to every family with which she works.

Esther has been graced to have great mentors, teachers and supporters. She has had many therapists and counselors herself and knows what aspects of therapy are effective and what aspects are ineffective. She is continuously learning from her engagement with her spiritual practice, her education, and her personal experience. She has also been a speech therapist and knows how to work effectively with others.

Esther is on the Board of Visitors at McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She received Coaching Training from I Achieve Today, a 21-day certificate training at Hippocrates Health Institute, training as a Professional Speech Therapist, certification from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health as an Early Intervention Specialist, and is a Certified by The Hanen Program, a Canadian Organization that promotes language, social, and literacy skills. Esther also has received practical guidance and mentoring from Mordechai David Naseck, an internationally known holistic health and wellness teacher.

Esther has the capability to hold a sacred space for others to open their hearts and be vulnerable in her presence and thus, acknowledge their deepest pain. Her allowance and non-judgmental understanding of others’ emotions and circumstances creates the most lasting and powerful healing.
